Come on baby light my fire

Well . . . almost!  Ozzie and I got out for our walk a bit late today.  I knew there was a possibility of showers and thunderstorms, but when they tell you there’s going to be a thunderstorm in the valley, it never happens.  When we get them, it’s generally a total surprise.  We were only about half a mile from the house when the first thunder started.  I had my endomondo tracker going, even though I had forgotten to turn it on until we were about a quarter of a mile from the house.  You can see below that our time was a bit quick today, as we high-tailed it home.  Not only was Ozzie getting wet, but our route involves a lot of tall firs.  I was figuring with my luck, I could quickly become a lightning-strike victim.

Now that we’re home, I’m really enjoying the storm (wirelessly).  I think I’ll shut down now though, as we’re really beginning to rock and roll.  I love a good storm when I’m safely tucked inside!
