A good walk spoiled

No . . .no golfing here today.  The sun peeked out from behind the clouds for a bit and Ozzie and I decided to head out for our walk.  We didn’t even make it to the park today.  We left our little gift in a curbside trash can that someone had not taken in.  It was, after all, wrapped up in a neat plastic bag, so I’m hoping the resident won’t mind.  We got about six blocks from home and, when we came around the corner, were confronted with the westward view.  BLACK.  Totally black clouds moving in our direction.  We decided to head for home, as we’ve already had two hail storms today.  We just made it inside when the hail started.

Glad we missed getting pelted with that!  They say we may get thunderstorms here today — most likely won’t happen.  When they say we’ll get thunder and lightning, it never happens.  It only comes as a surprise in these parts.  So.  That’s the end of the walk.  Perhaps if we get another sunny spell this afternoon we’ll go for it.  I don’t mind the rain, but hail hurts!
